The Dexibell Vivo series blends sophisticated sound generation, a high-quality keyboard, and an intuitive, stage-ready interface. The Vivo S8 offers the same outstanding sound engine and feature set as the flagship S10 but in a more compact and lightweight format. Its keyboard is specifically designed for musicians who want to focus on the expressive piano sound without the added bulk of a larger instrument. Powered by Advanced T2L (True to Life) technology, the Dexibell Vivo S8 combines physical modelling and sampling techniques to deliver exceptionally natural, detailed, and expressive sounds. Dexibell's approach is all about quality over quantity, focusing on a carefully curated selection of essential instruments. Whether for galas, concerts, ceremonies, parties, street performances, or festivals, the Vivo S8 delivers incredible audio quality wherever it goes.
The Dexibell Vivo S8 is equipped with a Fatar TP-40 LR keybed featuring 88 hammer-action keys, yet it remains impressively lightweight at just 17.9 kilograms. For added flexibility, up to four pedals can be connected. At the core of its sound engine is a CORTEX quad-core processor capable of generating up to 320 oscillators, providing practically unlimited polyphony. The instrument includes 180 high-quality sounds, ranging from pianos in Dexibell's premium library to electric pianos, brass, strings, synths, and plucked instruments. The 32GB of onboard memory provides ample space for additional sounds in both SoundFont and Dexibell's proprietary DXS format. Organ players are well served with over 100 presets, covering classic Hammond, Farfisa, and Vox tones, along with a detailed pipe organ. Drawbars for upper, lower, and pedal sections are fully adjustable, along with settings for the rotary speaker and other parameters. The integrated audio player allows WAV, AIFF, and MP3 files to be played directly from the piano as backing tracks or accompaniment.
The Dexibell Vivo S8 combines high-quality HD sounds, a professional-grade keyboard, intuitive operation, and a lightweight design. It is made for professional keyboardists who are frequently on the move and value a full set of 88 keys. The focus here is on delivering a pure playing experience without the need for constant adjustments or menu-diving.The integrated audio player lets solo performers and vocal accompanists play piano, electric piano, and other sounds alongside backing tracks, while keyboardists in a band can use it to run stripped-down accompaniment tracks with instruments that aren't present on stage, such as drums or brass. Bluetooth audio streaming is also on board. For occasional gigs, a padded gig bag is sufficient to transport the Vivo S8, while a flight case is recommended for longer or more frequent tours.
The Italian company Dexibell comprises a team of engineers and musicians who have been working together since the mid-1990s. Their mission is to faithfully reproduce the sound of rare acoustic instruments, such as Romantic-era grand pianos or historic church organs, through digital pianos and sound modules. With their proprietary T2L Technology, they achieve exceptional sound quality while offering extensive customisation through physical modelling. Impressively, their products employ up to 320 oscillators to deliver unlimited polyphony. Dexibell instruments are used by renowned musicians worldwide, including Brian Culbertson, Sheléa Frazier, and Loren Gold (The Who, Chicago).
The Dexibell Vivo S8 is designed for intuitive operation, with a user interface that makes sound selection and effect adjustments quick and effortless. For even greater control, the free Vivo Editor app (iOS) unlocks a streamlined workflow - making it easier than ever to fine-tune sounds, customise organ settings, adjust mixer and effects parameters, assign controllers, manage keyboard zones, and organise the onboard memory. For those who enjoy crafting their own backing tracks, the xMure Music Arranger app (iOS) is the perfect companion for Vivo stage pianos. Packed with creative tools like live chord progression, chord recognition, drum control with auto-fill, and the innovative Harmony Poly-Fragmentor, it offers a flexible and intuitive way to build dynamic arrangements. Finished tracks can be rendered instantly as stereo audio files, ready for performance or recording.
