J'ai commencé le cor avec cette embouchure, jouant déjà de la trompette.
J'avais essayé une dizaine d'embouchures, mon choix s'était arrêté sur celle-là qui était la plus confortable sous les lèvres. Le bord large rappelle en effet celui d'une trompette.
Elle m'a servi deux ans, depuis je suis passé sur une embouchure de la même marque, la 4N, plus profonde et avec un bord étroit. Elle est plus difficile à jouer (surtout dans les aigus, la 5 était facile pour ça !), mais elle est plus souple dans les graves et le son est plus rond. Je n'utilise plus la 5 mais je ne regrette pas d'avoir commencé avec elle.

Je recommande cette embouchure comme embouchure pour débuter, c'est un modèle "à tout faire", moyen et confortable.

Elle dépend aussi de l'instrument que sur lequel on joue.
Pour ma part, je la trouve pas mal dans l'ensemble, mais je n'arrive pas à descendre. Je préfère la Denis Wick 4.
Mais comme je l'ai dit, c'est personnel.
Je la conserve au cas ou je changerai d'instrument.
