Amazing guitar!

This is my first baritone guitar and I'm in love. It sounds and plays great out of the box. It had faulty grounding on the bridge + strings though so I had to solve that but it was easy. Also the back panel kind of just wobbles in place so I also added a bit of cotton to get a tighter fit.

A couple of things about the guitar that I didn't get from reading the specs:
The pickups are not reverse wound so the 60 cycle hum increases on the middle position, doesn't cancel out.
The guitar is almost fully hollow because the center block lets the chambered side with the F hole connect with the chambered side where the electronics are.
It's a VERY light instrument. I like that!

Le modèle que vous recevrez pourra être légèrement différent de celui décrit/en photo : mon exemplaire n'a pas la tête "Dolphin", normalement spécifique à ce modèle vintage, mais la "Small Bell" de la plupart des Danelectro. Erreur à l'assemblage du manche ? Modification permanente suite à de mauvais retours ? Tant mieux ? Moi, ça me va.

Sinon, c'est toujours une baryton semi-hollow en masonite : longue, mais d'un poids proche de celui d'un diapason ordinaire. Assis/Debout, elle ne pèse pas, et reste confortable. Manche agréable, cases aiguës faciles d'accès.

Bois compressé, métal et plastique. Toujours ce petit aspect général fragile typique de la marque. Le sélecteur en métal est raide et solide, les boutons plastoc en forme de moule-à-gâteau un peu moins. La plaque arrière en plastique, même vissée à fond, gigote légèrement...

Débranchée, le son grave est clair, avec un bon volume : on pourrait presque l'enregistrer en acoustique. Branchée, micros et réglage tonalité offrent un bon petit éventail de possibilités, malgré la réputation exagérée des "lipstick".

Selon réglage et tirant, elle conviendra à quasiment tous les types de jeu et genres musicaux.

Quant à la couleur Dark Aqua, elle est plus claire et jolie que sur photo/catalogue.

Bonjour, super content de mon achat, cette guitare est nickel et la couleur Aqua sonne bien vintage ! Une fois accordée, elle ne bouge plus ! Le seul truc, c'est que les potentiomètres de volume et de basse/aigu, ne sont pas progressifs du tout, ce qui rend difficile les réglages ! (mais des meilleurs potards ne coûtent pas très cher) ! Le son ainsi que la finition restent tout de même excellent !
