Very easy playing strings

Lower tension and thinner than most bass strings but that's why I bought them, I don't play as much as I used to and find that with these strings I can play for much longer without getting tired.

Due to the low tension they can easily be tuned up to solo pitch without stressing an instrument. In fact they feel more like standard tension strings this way and work very well, sounding nicer and less raspy than most solo sets I've tried.

Tone wise they were pretty bright at first but mellowed out after a week or so, the higher range carries well but the lower two strings can lack a little richness of tone. They are clear and articulate though and very easy to get notes started on. In my opinion any slight deficiency in tone is more than made up for by how ridiculously easy they are to play.

Have done a few gigs with them now and quality seems fine, can't see them coming of my bass in the next year or so.

Très bonnes cordes. Recommandees par un luthier et pas déçu. Le jeu est plus facile et le son est bon.

Durch die drastisch geringere Spannung im Vergleich zu z.B. Spirocore weich (Jazz) oder Belcanto (Klassik) von Th.-Infeld ist die Saite viel leichter bespielbar. Sehr ausgeglichenes Klangbild über alle 4 Saiten und sehr stimmstabil. In hohen Lagen gutes Sustain, tragfähiger Ton und leichte Ansprache - vor allem bei pizzicato. Beim Streichen muß man sich z.B. bzgl. Bogendruck wegen der geringeren Saitenspannung etwas umgewöhnen.
Insgesamt harmonieren die Saiten mit meinem Kontrabass (Alfred Mayer 4/4, Orchesterstimmung) ausgezeichnet und ich kann die Saiten v.a. den Jazzern wärmstens empfehlen.
Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich nach einigen Monaten noch nichts sagen, bisher jedenfalls kein Problem. Hinsichtlich Verarbeitung keine Beanstandung.

Ottime corde che non affaticano

Nonostante siano recensite come corde da musica classica sono perfette per il jazz, sopratutto per chi usa pick up magnetici, in quanto su di questi hanno una resa sonora molto potente. Sono più fini delle corde "normali", ma proprio per questo non affaticano né le mani né la tavola del contrabbasso. Sono molto morbide e facili, all'inizio un pò "chiare" ma poi si sistemano. Tengono perfettamente l'accordatura appena installate. Non capisco perché non siano più popolari nel jazz, consentono passaggi veloci e hanno un attacco distintissimo oltre al classico growl che ci si aspetta.
