But not because he is a 150 watt monster, but because it is the first e-guitar speaker that puts away 150 watts and still sounds so perfect. Everything is just right here. The basses, the mids, the heights, the glittering. Everything there, never too much and never too little. What surprised me the most is the following: Played with a Fender Blues Deluxe - Wow !, brilliant fender sound. Played with a Marshall JVM 215C - Wow !, brilliant marshall sound. Played with a Vox AC15 - Wow !, awesome Vox sound. Unbelievable this speaker. Whether against an Eminence or Jensen in a Fender or against a Vintage 30 or a Greenback in a Marshall or Vox. The Redback is always one step more balanced in terms of pressure, warmth and clarity for my taste. No matter if clean, crunch or high gain. The sound is always full pipe in your face, but never too harsh or too lax or too centered, just beautiful well-balanced. Anyway, I'm excited. I came to the speaker, because I've been looking for a speaker for my Fender Blues Deluxe, which does not sound as sharp and shrill as the original speaker, but still maintains the typical Fender sound and pressure in the basses. A good e-guitar sound must also have a neat underneath something to offer and neat "push", but never be intrusive or even boomy, so always "tight" stay. The Redback is fatter than any other speaker on the market I would now say cheeky, but despite all the "Thickness" just always tight, just great!
