It can hardly be better
About 25 years ago I started with trumpet, but then switched to Tuba and stayed for a long time. By studying and working, I unfortunately completely failed. A few months ago, I bought a 70-year-old Nikkan trumpet (forerunner from Yamaha) to practice. It was enough for me, but I wanted something better.
The B & S 3137 Challenger II offers in my opinion very much for their price. It speaks very lightly, sounds for my taste just perfect, is absolutely impeccably processed and left for me as a whole nothing to be desired. The practice makes it much more fun, there is simply more success experience and less effort.
The included mouthpiece 1 1 / 2c I initially found some need for habituation, with some practice it sounds however in the deep positions clearly more full and in the higher more pleasant and defined than a 7c. Then it needs but also quite strong lips and condition - it is more likely for professionals.
The case is inside and outside a piece of jewelry and can withstand a lot. In addition, a note stand, two mouthpieces and a lot of accessories fit into it. If it had not been supplied, I would have bought exactly one.
The B & S 3137 Challenger II is obviously more for professional musicians, but also motivated beginners will enjoy it. With such a professional instrument, it just makes more fun.
