Exactly what I was looking for
This is a high-quality, low-price pedal - I highly recommend it!
I was looking for a way to boost the level of my guitar during solos. I found that boost pedals not only made my guitar louder, but altered the tone in ways that I didn't like; they also introduced a lot of unwanted noise. All I wanted was something to make my solos stand out.
I had seen articles on the internet suggesting that an EQ pedal, placed last in the signal chain, might do the trick. My idea was to try the least expensive REPUTABLE product that I could find, and this Behringer seemed to fill the bill.
It turns out that this is exactly correct! With all the bands set at 0 and the level bumped up a couple of Db, this pedal gives my sound a small boost without altering the tone at all. Even better, the Behringer EQ700 is extremely quiet!
Although I don't use it as an EQ per se, I have played with it in that role and it seems to do very well. In fact, if I decide to add a graphic EQ type pedal to my chain, I will buy another one of these.
My only word of caution would be that the casing is made of plastic. I suspect that if you are very hard on pedals and are stomping on this one a lot, it will eventually break (and probably at the worst possible time). However, since I use a loop switcher, I never need to activate the footswitch on this pedal, so I expect that it will last a very long time.
Overall, I highly recommend this pedal as a level boost!

Great pedal for the price.
I find the pedal works just as well as the boss graphic eq of similar format. I use it in the effect loop of a high gain amp such as a Peavey 6505 to cut out certain frequencies in the end of the signal chain for making vocals in the band mix stand out or for reducing certain frequencies that build up form pre-gain eq settings. It does the job well. Build is ok. Can also be used as a boost.

Plastic but still fantastic
This isn't a super durable design (all plastic) and doesn't feel the best to use.
HOWEVER
This is the cheapest 'real' EQ pedal that just works a charm, in the best way possible it has no 'sound' and just allows you to shape the tone how you like. I can't recommend it highly enough, the only thing is that if you are travelling a lot then you might want a more expensive one with a metal enclosure (that's probably double the price) just for the peace of mind.

Big difference for small change
Didn’t think I needed an EQ but thought I’d try this because it was SO cheap. It’s capable of making a huge difference to your tone, well worth the money and then some. Only 3 stars for quality because of the plastic housing but it still feels pretty solid if you don’t need access to the battery compartment.

Can't better!
Very good!
For this amount, you can't find better EQ on market.

bought as an extra?...
hmmm....mixed thoughts about this!...its worth the money and works well!...I just don't like the slider action with NO centre detent...! trouble is Boss equivalent is too expensive to buy in the first place?.....d;-/

It's an eq, what can I say
Very similar to the Boss GE7. The only downsides i can find is that there is no "notch" for the sliders at 0 dB like on the Boss, and the case is plastic. But for the price it'll do the job pretty darn well.
