Great all round mouthpiece

I'm surprised this mouthpiece is not better known and more widely used - fairly close to a 7C diameter but for me a more comfortable, less sharp rim. The 9D is definitely NOT a very shallow cup, I would say slightly deeper than the close equivalent Yamaha 11B4. The cup also has a slight V shape to it, a bit of a V/C hybrid. I also have the 9C and that is really quite deep, more than I was expecting. Deserves to be better known in the Bach catalogue.

Mundstücke sind meiner Meinung nicht universell zu vergleichen, dafür ist der Mensch zu verschieden. Daher ist meine Meinung auch subjektiv.

Für mich war der Rand entscheidend. Da ich etwas fächere Ränder bevorzuge. Kommt
dieser mir entgegen. Ich finde er hat wenig mit den anderen Bach Mundstücken gemeinsam. (Ich kenne Bach 1.5c 7c und 2c und 3c) aber Bach typisch sind sie alle unterschiedlich. (Verstehe ich bis heute nicht.)

Der Klang ist Ansichtssache geht aber auf jeden Fall in die hellere brillantere bzw. kommerzielle Richtung ohne zu scharf zu werden.

Die Größe würde ich persönlich vom Gefühl mit Yamaha 11b4 vergleichen oder im Bereich 7c anderer Hersteller ev. noch Stomvi 5d

Der Kessel wird als sehr flach angegeben, finde ich persönlich nicht, eher Mittelflach
wie zum Beispiel Bach 7d oder Yamaha 11b4 oder 13b4 oder Stomvi 5d
