I purchased two tapes of this type and one "gold"-variant as well, but all of them are not performing well. Frequent dropouts throughout the entire frequency band, particularly track one and four are really inconsistent. Even when recording a 100hz tone to the tape, it isn't stable.

I tried using the tapes on two different units, to see if it was my equipment that wasn't performing properly, but even then- the issue persisted.
