Accordion Textbook
Accordion has been played and studied/learned in Germany for a long time. But in the past decade, a new generation of accordion players and friends has come up with new musical preferences. Yiddish klezmer music captured Europe by storm; Tango and Musette experience a revival, many rock bands use the sentimental sound of the accordion. If you wanted to learn about this music and how to play, there was literally nothing on the German market.
A collection of material with easy-to-play accordion pieces from this area was thus overdue and I hope that with "play accordion" I managed to reconcile two things:
On the one hand a world music playbook, which shows you many plays around the accordion and an accordion textbook, which teachers of the old school will also be able to work on with their pupils, because it helps them to develop their musicality and to discover the subtleties of playing the accordion more clearly than many others.
