Bought it to record mainly acoustic guitars and I was left a bit unimpressed. Too close and it still had a lot of low end build up, too far and the guitar sounded thin and boring, I just couldn't find the sweet spot I guess. When comparing it with other ribbon mics I ended up choosing the Coles 4038 instead. As always it's best to try things in your studio with your own instruments as it might work wonders for you, but for my own personal application it just didn't seem to work.
