This instrument was very out of tune. Some of the fittings did not fit completely. It had a very closed off sound and was very quiet. Some notes were semitones out of tune. Very unsatisfied. I had to send it back.

Just buy a good quality plastic recorder

This recorder is the worse thing I have seen. The bargain soprano recorder I bought in Lidl looks like a professional instrument compared to this alto recorder. Holes are drilled out of line, holes are wonky, the finish is incomplete.

I was hoping it would sound better than the plastic Aulos I had already bought but i will keep the plastic one, I will return the wooden toy.
