I'm using these mallets in classical and contemporary wind-band music, on Adams fiberglass timpani.

These were bought to replace a pair of Adams TM 0 (staccato, maple) whose felt beaters had worn through.

The TT 0 has the same beater, but the shaft is tonkin (bamboo) instead of maple and is consequently quite a lot thinner. This does require some adjustment but the lighter, thinner shafts are more agile in the hand.

Producing a smooth roll requires less power for louder dynamics, while the shafts are still wide enough to control softer playing.

The heads are hard, smooth felt (not cotton wool) and produce an extremely well-defined attack. These are the hardest sticks in my bag, with the exception of baroque wooden heads.

Summary: a very good product. Would consider Adams in the future for sticks.

Ich habe mir die Schlägel blind gekauft und bin sehr zufrieden. Habe sie abends direkt auf einem Konzert "ausprobiert".
Sie liegen sehr gut in der Hand und lassen sich sehr leicht spielen. Der Klang ist nicht zu hart und auch nicht zu weich, sodass auch leisere Passagen mit einem warmen, aber durchaus präzisen Klangbild überzeugen können.
Fazit:
Diesen Schlägel sollte man in seinem Sortiment haben.

Tout est dans le titre!!! Ces baguettes sont efficaces elle permettent un jeu stacatto parfait, un impact fort.
Equilibre est très bon et la durée de vie semble bonne à ce jour.
