Excellent product for helping beginners with bowing problems.

It is very easy to fit and remove but stays firmly in place. I have used it on violins from 1/4 to full size and it works very well. It forces students with inconsistent bowing to bow at right angles to the strings in the one spot - not up and down the strings - and hence produce a better sound. It is the type of product you might lend to a student for a while, so having 2 or 3 on hand, if you have a few beginners, would be helpful. I strongly recommend this product.

I am a beginner and using this for a few months has had a very noticeable effect on my bowing. I am very satisfied with the quality and the ease of use of this product and would recommend it.

Even for a more advanced player to revisit the straight bow from time to time- allows easy adjustment to play closer to the bridge, which is why I chose this model; works well on cello and violin.

The bow does not easily pass through the opening and gives scratching sound. Not at all happy with the product..
