I got this to carry my Mackie mixer around town in backpack mode, leaving my hands free to carry other gear, after Thomann helpfully confirmed that it's probably the only backpack style bag on the planet that's big enough.

It works, and there's plenty of room for additional stuff to be crammed in as well. I love the adjustable pads feature of UDG bags, they are just so useful for flexibly securing delicate items properly within the bag.

My reason for deducting a couple of stars is that I'm not sure how robust the zips will be after regular use but we'll see. I might post an update in a year or so.

Perfect for long trips, very safe with its multiple layers of internal protection.

I knew the first version of UDG box where the only two options were either hand or shoulder, this version is worth all the qualities you can read on the site.
