12-String Steel String Guitar with Pickup
The Grand Concert Builders Edition 12-String is suitable for fingerstyle and strumming. The 652ce Builders Edition features Taylor V-Class bracing, which results in higher volume, longer sustain and improved intonation; the guitar's maple back and sides lend it a powerful, transparent sound. The torrified (heat-treated) Sitka spruce top, together with the short scale, ensures excellent dynamics. The rounded contours, arm rest and bevelled cutaway allow playing comfortably up to the highest positions. The satin finish also reduces noise that can be caused by rubbing against the body. Taylor's own active ES2 dynamic piezo system with bass, treble and volume controls is used as the pickup.
