Specially selected maple wood for concert toms, and targeted focus on the interconnection of the registers and the shell bearing edge, which provides for a full tonal resonance
Two-piece Direct-Flexi Mount tom mounting system, allowing the drum to be played in a slightly horizontal position and controling the vibration of the shell, also allowing the resonance to unfold to a more freely movable mount system than the conventional Direct-Mount systems

i purchased the 6x6 and 8x7 concert toms and both of the instruments had defective drum hoops. not what someone would expect from tama products. after explaining with photos and email to customer service why they are defective hoops and that the result is a drum that constantly de- tunes. their answer was '' no fault found'' sadly ,thoman's team of specialist and accounting departments do not want to deal with this issue . and will waste your time. , so i had to purchase new hoops for these drums . dixon 1.6 mm well made and straight quality product.

It's a top end beauty

Finding this classic top end of top end tom ain't been easy.

I changed my kit a few years ago and my 6" concert tom was lost in the collateral damage of the deal and ever since I have missed me little beauty .... until now!!!

Tama have come up smiling with this fella. He cuts through in any situation and with careful tuning produces the drrrackk that pleases the gods of rock and all their apostles. Rim shots are delightful and loosen teeth and eyeballs as all rim shots should and the manufacturing is, as you'd expect from Tama, of a very high standard.

If you looking for something high high end then this drum will not let you down.
