Best preamp tubes there are!!!

I used this tube both in my Fender Hot Rod Deville III 60W 2x12" and now in my H&K Statesman Quad EL84 and I really love the sound of these tubes. You have to pay attention to the documentation which place in preamp section they are recommended so you get no surprises. I have followed TAD?s instructions in V1, V2, V3 etc to get the best result.

Used them in V2 of my Randall as suggested, and it worked pretty well. It didn't change the overall sound that much compared to the stock Electro-Harmonix, but it gave it a bit more warmth.

Would definitely recommend it !

Great tube

Bought this tube for my taga tha500 hybrid heaphone tube amp. Definetly miles ahead of the stock 12ax7 chinese tube that came with it. But it is not intended for hifi use, it is meant for guitar amps and that is where it shines. On headphone or speaker tube amp, it gives kind of a overdrive sound to verything once you pass certain volume level. Still good, but not optimal for hifi.
