Lighting Set

With this all-in-one LED set, Stairville brings the long-awaited lighting solution for all bands, entertainers, musicians, magicians, comedians and anyone who needs high-quality lighting on their stage with minimal effort. The extremely bright RGB TRI-Colour LEDs currently represent the state-of-the-art in LED technology. All conceivable colours can be mixed, naturally without any troublesome RGB shadows. The very low power consumption and virtually non-existent heat generation will convince even the most sceptical critics. The Stage TRI LED Bundle Extension can be controlled via the optionally available foot switch or DMX 512 (functions accessible via footswitch: automatic mode, sound-to-light mode, freeze & blackout).

Excellent light for the price.

I have the older version and the new version of this light, the current version seems significantly brighter than the old model, not sure if that is due to LEDs losing their brightness over time, the old ones are about 15 years old I think.
I use them with control software (ShowBuddy Active), and they are very controllable with a decent dimming curve.
The built in programs are useful and very editable when needed, not a huge variety but enough for most purposes.
Used as front light 2 of these are fine for a 6m wide stage with 3 performers, but on a bigger stage with more performers we need more, or brighter lights.
We have also used them upside down as ground standing effect lights and they work well in this format too.
The yokes are a little flimsy, but adequate, and the case is excellent and well padded.
In summary, a great value, useful fixture.

Stairville TriLED Bundle

A friend of mine had a set of these lights at a wedding event recently which prompted me to look seriously at LEDs for the first time to light our band.

These are ridiculously good lights. I previously used 8 x 300w PAR cans and would never have thought LEDs could match the performance but I was happily proven wrong. The TRILED Bundle offers fantastic value for money and powerful performance for most small to mid-level applications. Certainly to light a pub/club/wedding band these lights are more than capable of matching the best products out there. Fully programmable (with patience and time) footswitch operated (for those less patient) and the carry case makes transport very easy. In terms of bang for buck, look no further.

Only downside is that one of the units recently has an issue with the red diodes. I'm returning it, but because they are such a quick and easy unit, I bought a replacement. I'll use the return when it comes back as a backup.

Great value and great output

We now have 4 sets of these and they are terrific value for money. The light output is amazing compared to old fashioned par 56 spots and you get the benefit of the RGB colours so no need for gels etc, plus the low power consumption makes it so much easier to manage power consumption at a venue

The build quality is great and the travel bags that come with them is a real bonus.

Have yet to spend much time programming them with a software controller but they would be even more amazing.

My only criticism is that the wires that connect each panel to the bar can easily get damaged if you pack them up the wrong way. All four of these units showed slight damage to the wires when fresh out of the box so clearly the person packing them up in the factory has forced the wires against the frames. It would be so easy for them not to have caused this damage.

Would recommend these lights to any band that needs a light weight, easy to set up stage lighting system

Good starter kit, average build quality, great price

I started off with two of these for a small live band lighting rig. Build quality is about as good as you could hope for at the price, but the light output is good and the presets are great for getting up and running immediately.
