Sound Devices MX-LMount

This Battery Adapter is good for giving power with the battery in a handy way when recording with the Mixpre outdoors in rough conditions. It does hold the battery connecting it to the recording device. It is light weight and stable. However it is not at all strong. Mine broke the second day in use just dropping it. the small chip behind the battery came off. I think this product is overpriced for being made with plastic so easily breakable. However it is still usable without the small chip...but it could have been made stronger!....I would like to add that The Sound Device replaced the broken MXL mount to a completely new ,even tough i made the reclamation one year later...also Sound Device has excellent support for which i definitely give 5 stars...
