Great kick drum mic

I would strongly recommend this mic as a kick in microphone (inside the drum, facing the beater from a 15 cm distance) , especially if you desire a more modern click compared to AKG D112 or Shure Beta 52. The microphone is great for recording bass amps and floor toms as well!

I tried it as a kick out microphone as well, which it was decent at - but I felt I had better options at hand for that purpose (E902 seemed to be bothered with quite severe bleed from the drum-set compared to other options)

Very versatile mic with the Sennheiser build quality that will make it last for a lifetime.
