Rane killed it with this controler

Where to start? One of the best controlers I ever worked. Stem control is really worked out. I can't stop playing with stems :)
The quality of the product is TOP! Only minus is that it is not stand alone, but, if you wish to buy stand alone you have good products from other manufacturers.
This one is made big, strong, reliable, solid and as one of the scratch Dj's I can say a really nice toy to play.
First I was looking for Performer but the diference in price was the key. Since price of the Four is lowered and the difference between those two is not so big (if you need rotating jog it is a difference but...)
Usually playing on turntables so this one is for minor gigs and it's gonna be perfect!

Viele Features - Qualität der Line Fader mangelhaft

Ansich ein gutes Gerät mit vielen Features. Jedoch sind die Line Fader mehr als minderwertig. Habe das Gerät im Oktober 2024 gekauft - nach 4-5 Einsätzen ging es im Januar 2025 bereits zur Reparatur. Fader 1 & 2 defkt (Kratzen , Wackelkontakt). Jetzt im September 2025 geht es nach evtl. 7-8 weiteren Einsätzen erneut zur Reparatur. Wieder Channel 1 defekt (Wackelkontakt). Und dieses Gerät wird mehr als schonend behandelt. Habe div. anderes Equipment parallel im Einsatz (DDJ Rev5 oder den DDJ FLX 10) - welches deutlich mehr Einsätze auf dem Buckel hat und keinerlei "Ermüdungserscheinungen" sichtbar sind.

Für einen Controller im 1800 € Segment (teuerer als die beiden angeführten DDJs von Pioneer) erwarte ich eigentlich schon eine bessere Qualität. Sowas mag für Hobby at Home DJs "ok" sein. Aber für den professionellen Einsatz eigentlich nicht brauchbar. Hier muss man sich auf die Technik verlassen können.
