Handle the connectors with care

I had 2 of these. Heed my warning:
Read the label BEFORE running the cable. The signal goes only one way and it takes a few gigs to remember this.
The connectors are shielded by plastic which isn't held together by anything. So the first time your smart ass yanks it, it will blow to smithereens, but fortunately, the connector inside is sturdy and you just macgyver it with gaffa tape and keep on trucking.

Very low quality product

We bought 16 pcs of these drums. First of all, it was random what side the display/source plug was on the drum. Second, the cap on the plugs fall of.

We use these as a rental company, to avoid too many sdi/hdmi converters on 50m stretches. Out of the 16 we bought a year ago, (out maybe 2-3 times a month) only 2 are still in working condition, and even those two are unreliable.

Hdmi-Kabel als Kamerakabel

Ich nutze die Kabeltrommel als Kamerakabel für einen abgesetzte Kamera in einer Streaming-Umgebung einer Kirchengemeinde. Für diesen Zweck ist die Kabeltrommel optimal. Das Kabel lies sich leicht umtrommeln, da ich die Anschlüsse in der umgekehrten Folge benötigt habe. Nun steht die Trommel direkt am Mischer und das freie Ende an der Kamera. Die Übertragung ist einwandfrei. Für meinen Zweck die beste und einfachste Lösung. Alternative wären Wandler auf Netzwerk und retour gewesen.

Nous nous sommes fait piéger car le câble est monodirectionnel. Excellente qualité de transmission.

Un seul bémol sur les connecteurs que j'ai du scotcher car les protections ne tiennent pas.
