From floortom legs to percussion rods, these Pearls will be able to function as both a memo clamp for adjustment heights and additional clamps, as well as an extra clamp security.

It's all about being able to break down your set and put it back up elsewhere exactly the same, quicker and easier.
They are not expensive and there are not much cheaper alternatives out there.
That's why they're sold out often.

Should have a couple of these. I advice buying 1 or 2 extra on top of what you need right now.
Especially when you're using rod-clamped attachments on your drums, but only for the 9,5 mm size.

It doesn’t fit Pearl’s floor tom legs!

Seriously wtf. I have a Pearl Crystal 16” floor tom and these memory locks do not fit the floor tom legs. They are too narrow. I had to use my Dremel to widen the holes so I was able to use Pearl floor tom legs memory locks on a Pearl floor tom legs… :/

Not ideal for modern floor tom legs

I bought a set of these for my floor tom legs only to find out that they don't fit the legs on my kit. Maybe I was naive to think that floor tom stop locks would work for all floor toms but that doesn't seem to be the case here.
