Ja
Looks deceive
I bought these to replace the thin cables I have (yes, still have) between my RME Babyface Pro and Behringer ADA8000 as these looked sturdy and the cable itself does feel sturdy, yes.
But.
When I tried to make the connection with these cables, they wouldn't sync at all, at best they showed "32kHz Lock" for fraction of a second. Also, these don't lock to the ports and the blue plastic cover comes off the connector with the slightest pull so it's a pain in the behind to get these off if one by some miracle decides to actually stick properly to one of the ports. Meanwhile, when I connected again with the old cables, they synced just like they should so unfortunately these sssnakes don't do their job.
So. Sturdy cables and the cable is connected well to the connector which gives a first impression of cheap but quality but unfortunately these are actually just cheap, at least the 2 I bought.
