Wonderful Shockmount

All I can say is, I'm so happy I bought extra one of these as I purchased the MXL 990. After a couple of years, the original shockmount started loosening around the screw and could no longer support the weight of the mic, I was delighted to remember I had one extra in storage.

It never hurts to prepare, guys. If you're buying the MXL 990, grab one more of these, so you'll be prepared when the original draws it's last breath. You'll be glad you did!

Does not fit with MXL V67

I had to use piece of towel to fit my v67 in it. But quality looks good. I ve used worse ones in the past, even though its not perfect fit for my main mic, i will continue to use it. May be i should buy one more MXL, to have different mic option.

Shock absortion system does its job as expected, but you need to be a little bit more careful with rubber band around the ring. Otherwise it's stable and durable. It will serve long time.
