Great Home Amp

I bought this amp to get something comfy to practice with at low volumes at home or that's easy to transport. The other consideration was the Spark Mini but this was less expensive and looked to fill the same niche.

The construction feels solid and it looks higher quality in person than what the product shots would make you think. Doesn't move around when you have a cable attached though I'm using it with a wireless transmitter. It has this rubber pad that secures it well.

I don't like using my phone with an amp but that said the app for this is functional. It connected easily and haven't run into issues using it so far. It looks quite bare with just some sliders and buttons. Very much function over form which I prefer. Easy to find and adjust everything so it's been really fun to play around with different sounds.

There's quite a few presets and more from the cloud you can download straight in the app. Unfortunately the cloud ones are not great and there aren't filters or ratings to find good ones.

The on device settings are barebonew. It has a preset selector and volume controls for the backing track and your instrument. I do wish you could rebind the backing track wheel as that's not something I use. Would be nice to use it for amp gain control or something instead.

The sound is better than you'd expect from such a small box and the different effects and amp models sound OK or even good. Not as good as the real thing but perfectly enjoyable and even better if you use good open back headphones.
