Vintage J-Master pickups are very inconsistent in terms of output and tone and have a certain power and warmth that sets them apart from the rest.
These are the models on which the Mojotone clones are based
Hand-wound coils with a special tension and winding pattern perfectly replicate their unique singing tone
Reverse wound for a hum-cancelling effect when both pickups are together
Output: Vintage

So much better and bigger sounding than Fender's Pure Vintage '65s for pretty much the same price. This might be the best value Jazzmaster pickup set on the market if you're looking for something less thin and harsh than '65s.
