You get what you pay for
I've been using this thing to hold my Shure SM7B and while it can do that, pretty much everything else makes this a regrettable buy.
The stand uses springs in order to keep itself stable, and if you as much as tap on any surface that the stand is attached to, those springs will reverberate as a result.
When you move the arm around, it will shriek like a banshee, and the springs on the lower joint will make some other noises because they might come in contact with the frame.
It's also very wobbly.
