I usually apply this kind of glue to repair fine wood instriment.
this one is quite reliable and works with no defects at all,

It is enough liquid and easy to manage when warm without having the tipical sticky/honey effect of some other brands (normally due to additives).

This product do not smell so much when warmed up but take care to not flame it directly.

It is very easy to grind and polish when hardened but remember to keep slow the speed of any electric tool used.

One topic I cannot evaluate is the possibility of paint. Sorry. :)

Please note that this glue can easily be used to repair small cracks on leather and wood constructions that are not musical instruments also, but keep in mind in any case that the repaired areas are a little more brittle.

In general a very good product, I bought the small packet to try. On my next buy I will order the big bag!

Effective hot glue flakes and in an economical size...I rarely use it as it is more time consuming but its worth having to hand for repair jobs on very old instruments to ensure historical accuracy and compatibility.

Very strong and stable glue. I've used it to glue an old classical guitar. It's a little bit fast at drying, but with little extra effort, the result is excellent

Bester Leim

Perfekt um ein Griffbrett auf einen Gitarrenhals zu kleben.
Ich hab ihn 1:1 mit Wasser gemischt, eine Stunde ziehen lassen und dann das Glas mit dem Leim nochmal eine Stunde in ein Wasserbad (ca. 60 °C) gestellt.
Die Verarbeitung sollte man vorher ein paar Mal durchgehen, damit jeder Handgriff sitzt und alles bereit liegt.
Der Leim wird sehr hart, farblos durchsichtig und hat eine sehr glänzende Oberfläche.
Und er hält bombenfest, wesentlich besser als die üblichen Baumarkt-Leime.
