Acquistato per sostituire il pur valido pickup al manico del mio squier CV '50 bianco, suona che è una goduria e, soprattutto ed inaspettatamente, crea un suono particolarissimo, molto nasale, in posizione centrale assieme al ponte originale, anche se perde un po' di volume.

Quindi, contentissimo dell'acquisto che consiglio!

Probablement un des meilleurs micros pour Telecaster

Acheté pour remplacer un micro d'origine (désespérément) coupé.
Ce micro installé sonne en même temps riche et cristallin, pas grand chose à voir avec un micro Tele Fender standard. A la fois plus de médium et de finesse.
A essayer sans hésiter et à mon avis l'essayer c'est l'adopter !
Parfaitement conquis j'y reviendrai bientôt.

Geiler Klang! Vergleich mit Seymour Duncan STR-1

Den Special T CH habe ich zusammen mit einem J-Street Bridge in einer FGN Iliad Standard (eine moderne Tele) verbaut. Dort ersetzen sie die standardmäßigen Seymour Duncan Pickups (STR-1 bzw. STL-1).
Der Lollar hat wesentlich mehr Output und klingt dadurch viel voller, aber trotzdem klarer und definierter als der SD. Dadurch rauscht er aber auch etwas stärker, bleibt damit aber im erträglichen Rahmen.
Der Klang ist bei Bedarf richtig schön glockig, mit mehr Bass und Mitten im Vergleich zum Original-PU, aber immer noch eindeutig Tele.
Den größten Unterschied sehe ich aber in der Dynamik. Hat man den "Sweet Spot" bei Volumen-Poti und Amp gefunden, ist von sanft bis richtig rotzig alles mit dem Anschlag steuerbar. Trotzdem bleiben beim Akkordspiel die Einzeltöne schön separiert.
Der Klang bleibt natürlich Geschmackssache und ist stark abhängig von der gesamten Signalkette, aber für Blues-Rock oder auch Jazz-Blues nahezu perfekt.
