I own 3 units and they're rarely a constant part on my setup, but I'm glad to have them for the occasional need for signal switching.
Know that if you're looking to split your signal into two amps or other wall socket powered devices simultaneously, something called ground loop can occur. Ground loop creates impurities to the sound and it can go undectected in low volume setups. To eliminate ground loops, you need an isolator between the amps. Isolators can be found on DI-boxes for example. This device does not have an isolator.
