Great strings

Great strings for the violin bass.
Clear but fat sound and nice feel under the fingers.

My old 500/1 bass was a little tight where the ball-end of the string goes so I had to remove a bit of the silk from that end of the string. Other than that, no problems.

Näitä voi suositella jos on perinnesaundi ja tuntuma haussa. Edullisesta HI-series bassosta saa todella miellyttää ääntä ja nämä ovat mukavat soittaa, vaikka aika korkealle saa kielet nostaa jottei rämise.

Loved these strings. I fit them to a Hofner Ignition Club Bass that unfortunately I have sold now. They are very smooth strings with a slightly more aggressive sound than your typical flatwound and a high end definition that you won't find anywhere else.

I loved the ease of playability and if it weren't for my heavy handed right hand, I'd probably have them on my bass now.

probably good strings but not the sound I expected so 55 bucks down the toilet

I was hoping they would make my Höfner sound a bit more(a tiny bit) like my Kala bass which has acrylic strings. Well, they actually sounded more 'steel-like than the Höfner flat wounds(that are very good). So I put the Höfners back on and I guess I'm happy enough with the outcome. Good to find out even if I am more than 50 bucks lighter..I somehow thought that nylon coating would dampen the sound a bit more:-(
