Great replacement

Installed it as replacement for a broken plastic OEM part on a tBox. Fits and works fine. Should be a metallic one installed right from the start.

The product is really well made with thick metal (4mm) and really strong. Perfect for really heavy speakers

In the past, I have had cast aluminiun or plastic speaker pole hats. Their life is around a year before they fail.

When the hat breaks, the pole "can" rip through the cone of the main driver inside the speaker box, or even "destroy" the speaker's internal crossover.

The K & M hats are much heavier, looks like thicker metal where it is needed, so I presume they are stronger & will last longer than my previous hats, they are finished with a handsome & glossy black shine and don't seem to rotate on the pole as the plastic hats did.

Thomann's 3 day day delivery and sensible price system is a god send for me and keeps my music on the road whatever I need.
