This product is K&M quality. The locking mechanism is quick and firm. The rubber end caps keep your stand and keyboard in their place. One of the rubber end caps on the feet of the stand is asymmetrical so you can spin it around and find balance on uneven floors, how clever!

Don't think, however, that this stand suits large and heavy keyboards, it does not. This is meant for small synthesizers. (I use this in my studio with a Moog Sub Phatty.)

I am using this for my midi-keyboard, and for that it works wonders. It's easy to setup and it's very stable. One cannot securely change the hight without removing the keyboard first, though i don't think you are supposed to either. For my thin keyboard the stand is a bit too deep, but the plastic covers on the top can be ajusted to accomodate even thinner keyboards as well.
