The Kemper profiling technique allows the creation of a very precise sonic image (profile) of an existing amplifier configuration (including cabinet and microphone pickup). Thanks to its extensive internal processing capabilities—including multiple effect emulations (up to four simultaneously), master effects, equaliser, gain, amp definition, and power sagging—the created sound can be shaped far beyond the limitations of the original amplifier. However, the Kemper Profiling Amplifier includes a wide array of exceptional amplifier profiles, making it unnecessary to create your own unless desired. This makes it possible for the first time to precisely reproduce the sound of your own amplifier, to modify it if desired and to have it available for practising in the studio or on stage without having to lug it around.
