Good quality for your money
I switched this in to a lefty and I had no problems in the process what so ever. The frets are slightly small for my taste, but then again I have no reference point to any other mandolins.

Required a small setup, otherwise great!
Never had a mandolin before so I cannot compare to expensive solid wood mandolins. But this thing is surprisingly good!
By changing the strings and moving the bridge I could intonate it well. Fret ends had to be filed and frets polished a bit, fretboard oiling recommended too. But the frets are leveled well and the nut was decent height, although I dropped it just a smidge. Nut slots were cut well enough.
All in all, with this extra time spent on the setup I got a really good mandolin to start practising with!

mandolel-projekti
sain idean: hankin mandoliinin, jossa on ukulele-viritys. Laskin kielten koot (paksuudet) , tilasin yksittäiset kielet Thomannilta. Ja homma toimi! Saundi ei ole maniskan saundi, koska viritys on eri. Muttei se kuulosta ukuleleltakaan. Se on mandolele. Hyvän tuulen soitin. Mandolele.
