Zero fret to a standard nut
Antti A. 14.01.2016
I sort of fell in love with this in some situations. I installed one in my dobro and that works really nice. Gives special brightness to the sound as almost everything is affected by the nut. I have it also on another std tuning electric and also there it works nice for open chords, Wouldn't put it in every guitar but for some it works really fine.

Works well even with my left conversion
Tuntematon 30.06.2016
Zero glide do make a left hand nut but thomman don't stock them so I bought a righty and fitted it to my gretsch electromatic which had that annoying g string out of tune at the 2nd fret problem, basically I filled all the grooves with powdered bone and super glue and recut it as a left hand nut , filled the width to fit the neck and fitted it, it really helps, the action is like having a capo on and now when I play a d it sounds perfectly in tune , if you have problems with your 2nd fret pulling the string out of tune I would recommend this whole heartedly and I can see these really catching on as the whole concept of a zero fret is good

bring back to life!
Chris Rouch 18.10.2017
Fitted as a replacement nut on 46 year old Eko acoustic.
The tone change over the years in the instrument has been brought it back to life. No longer living in cupboard.
Thanks again for the excellent service,

Great but...
D. Denis 12.06.2025
The slot distance of between the 1st and 2nd strings is rather off by nearly a millimetre (around 0.75). I compared it to the original nut of my Gibson Midtown Custom. At first, I thought this is not a big deal but after playing for a few days I realised it's not at all a nice feeling. The first string slips out of the fretboard more easily. I don't mean at all that is impossible to play if you have proper technique but definitely the slots on this nut do not come with the quality standard you're likely to have with the original nut.

For the rest, the overall sound it's just insane. You'll lower your action without buzzing, in some ES and Les Pauls the intonation will definitely improve, and the sound of open strings will get richer.

Great but... Mind the gaps.
