The perfect case for a looper and one row of Eurorack gear.

I have a specialized need of fitting a Boss RC-505mkII looper, some Eurorack gear and all the power supply units in a flightcase so that setting it up won't take much time. I had to modify a Thon Top Tray 1U by cutting it shorter and connect the looper to it with velcro. And throw an extension cord in the bottom. This was the only case that had the proper measurements and carrying handles. Now everything works smooth! All the labelled cables fit in when closed, and at the gig I can just pull them out and connect to the outboard gear and instruments.

Heavy duty but affordable flight case

I got this as a travel case for my Eurorack modular setup. I managed to fit 3 rows of 84HP modules installed in Tiptop Audio Happy Ending Kits into this case without any problem. I'm not sure I would trust putting this in an airline check-in cargo but it's fine for driving to gigs.

Pros: Solid build, fits 3 rows of 84HP modules. Can be modified somewhat (see below).

Cons: Slightly oversized for this particular purpose. I had lid clearance issues with some knobs on the top row but this was easily solved disassembling rack rails and tilted side mount boards and trimming them at the bottom.

Bought this for my Stairville DMX Invader 1024 NET mixing desk. Brilliant. fits like a glove and keeps the desk safe and secure. Great. 🤘🏻
