Does what is says...

Difficult one to review really, it's a pedal with two switches that dates back to the dawn of electrical design. How can it be wrong. The original pedal that came with my fender twin failed after several years but I think it may have been damage to the cable so not sure on that. The one from Thommann does the job. I mainly use it to switch on the reverb live, however, I've occasionally pressed the other pedal as they are close together and got vibrato instead :-)
So I might put a bolt under that one to avoid it happening again.
Apart from that, it's perfect.

Form over function, but I like it

Looks great, with that vintage Fender sheen to it. Works perfectly with my modified Blues Junior, and looks right at home. Long enough cable for most stage applications. The underside is plastic (like many others) which means it slides all over the shop until you put a grip pad on it. It was more expensive than I would have liked, as there is very little going on inside a switch pedal like this, but hey, it's shiny, and it matches my tilt-back legs!

Als Ersatzteil im Fender Princeton Reverb 65

Der Fußschalter meines meines Fender Princeton Reverb 65 hat sich nach einem Jahr - trotz geringer Nutzungsdauer - verabschiedet. Defekt war ein Schalter im Fußschalter UND der Stecker verstärkerseitig. Finde ich für diese Preisklasse eigentlich problematisch ...

Diesen Fußschalter also als Ersatz bestellt - funktioniert bisher fehlerfrei - der Preis ist aber angesichts der Bauteile und Verarbeitung sicher nicht gerechtfertigt ... dafür steht FENDER drauf ;-)

Features: Wünschenswerte wäre sicher je eine LED-Anzeige. Das Gegenargument, "man höre den aktivierten Effekt doch!?" stimmt nicht immer, da man z. B. manchmal ja auch nur mit einem "Hauch" Reverb spielen möchte. Habe gelesen, die LED soll aufgrund der Art der Stromversorgung hier aber eh nicht möglich sein!?
