Good for the price
Pros:
++ Excellent to play, the string action on mine is was great out of the box, which makes it play with a light touch. The string spacing is closer together than the standard classical guitar and the neck is smaller, which could be a question of preference but has obvious benefits especially for smaller-handed people or beginners. I like it personally, it's a cool, uncommon feature.
++ Sound: Sounds really good amplified with no background-noise, which is usually present in these type of guitars. The sound you could get out of this through an amplifier was by far the biggest positive surprise for me! Also sounds good acoustically, just don't expect the volume to be on the level of a classical concert guitar. This is a thinline after all.
+ Looks: Looks good
+ Case: The case is a nice feature. Small and light as the guitar so probably not the most sturdy. Good if you don't intend to abuse it.
Cons:
- - The tuners are bad. Fine-tuning can take a while. First thing to replace in this guitar. Good thing is it's really the only poor-quality aspect on this guitar.
- Some resonance of the electronic cables against the body when playing certain notes. On my guitar at least.
One thing puzzles me... It says everywhere this model has a 12" radius fretboard. In my guitar it is absolutely FLAT. Is this a mistake in the feature listing of Fender?
Overall, very happy.
