Wonderful but unusable due to high noise

It's a wonderful pedal, don't get me wrong, the warbles and the chorus you can get from this truly sounds lush and satisfyingly random, but..

There's some terrible hiss caused by the LPG whenever you ring out a chord. Furthermore, when you pick single notes with more attack, there's a type of tone suck-noise happening, which is very VERY unpleasant. It's a low, ultra-boomy frequency (probably around 30hz) combined with the nastiest high pitched click, yikes.. I can only imagine the sound engineer cringing in the booth trying to figure out what's going on.

Yep.. it's really a shame cause the effect in itself sounds a - ma - zing. Simply unusable because of the noise, though :(

An amazing pedal with a serious flaw

Absolutely love this pedal - it has a great look, solid build and it really dones something that few others can but unfortunately it has one major flaw - it produces quite a bit of loud hiss/white noise as it modulates the low-pass filter. this was initially inaudble to me when i watched demo vids of the pedal but now that i'm aware of the sound, i can head it in the demo vids too. It is very extreme when put through an amplifier and unfortunately I thnk this may make it unusable for some users.

Lush Lo-Fi pedal

I use this pedal to bring Lo-Fi life to samples from a computer. It Works great with everything from drums to strings to pianos etc. It does produce a weird high pitch noise that makes the pedal unsuitable for live use but in the studio it's very easy to notch the frequencies. It's a solid build that feels great.

It's great, but not for me

In the beginning it takes some getting used to, but once you get it, you got it. I found that I never use it for recording music though. This is because the whole lofi, worbly music stuff is great to listen to for me, but I don't want to make that type of music. So I would recommend anyone who considers buying this pedal to thing about whether the sound of this pedal fits your personal playing style.
