For really opening up the sound of your 24" bass drum (and letting you mic up close)

This is a seriously good quality reso skin for your 24" drum. Don't be turned off by the price, because you'll never need to change the skin ever again (that goes for all reso skins IMHO). So do yourself a favor and invest in one of these. I previously played with a closed reso skin or without a skin, and then i turned to this and was blown away. It gives the perfect balance between resonance, pitch, and punch. Plus it allows me to get my bass drum mic just where i want it through the port hole. The port hole itself is also really nicely padded so you don't get those awkward squeaks or cuts when moving your boom in and out of the drum. In addition, it helps it from ripping and breaking, so it's another longevity boost worth paying for!

Ei taida olla tätä parempaa resokalvoa?
Juuri sopiva kalvon paksuus ja reikä suojattu sopivalla muovilla.
Monta muuta olen kokeillut mutta tähän aina palaan!

I usually use remo heads but i'm clad i gave this a try because i really love it.
The clarity and response on this head is great.
I really like the result i got with this head and really recommend this head for everyone.

The best kick reso I've ever used!

I have changed all of my kick drums over to this resonant head from Evans. I am predominantly a Remo user, but I have to say I would recommend the Evans emad to any professional drummer. I don't think there is a better kick resonant/front head available by any of the other manufacturers. The tonal clarity and response is excellent, and the head itself is robust and tough enough to withstand life on the road. I particularly like the protective/reinforcement ring around the microphone sound hole. There's no rattle or buzz, just a pure response. I use it with a Remo coated powerstoke 4 on the batter side and it makes a seriously effective partnership! Great drum head!
