There's nothing to be said - It's dw 9000 series hardware. I own single tom holders and they are perfect. The idea to use 12.7mm L-rode is great. All the 9000 series hardware is pretty massive. Only one negative thing I found - the memory clamp I'd rather prefer on the underside so that the dw sm-992 to lay on it - a lot more sturdy and the aesthetics will be better.

excellent product! needed it to attach it to a cymbal stand for tom tuning purposes - before I always had to remove and reinstall the tom clamps from their specific cymbal stands - top quality from DW featuring omni-ball system - L rod Ø 12,7 mm - ball Ø 39mm - the cymbal stand with this double tomholder attached can also be used to add some smaller percussion items to my drum kit - in case the ball diameter would be too big? both rods can easily be replaced with smaller rods.
