I have been a Jazz III guy all my life. For so long my go-to has been the ULTEX Jazz III. During a recent crusade into the world of guitar picks I found out that they made Tortex picks in the Jazz III size. The thing that bugged me with the "typical" Jazz picks was the fact that they had no give, and that they took forewer to wear in. I never was a fan of the molded lettering in them either, for some reason. When I found these purple beauties, I fell in love. They have just the smallest amount of give, a feeling I have been searching for so long. Perfect for higher string tensions. They wear slowly, but don't take too long to acquire the "Broken In" feel so many people like with their picks. They are firm in the hand and have a medium amount of grip, so "Noodlers" beware.
On a side note, I wish Thomann had a clearer description for this product as the "Thickness and Size H3" Doesn't say that much for the casual player.
Overall the Best pick for Rock 'n' Roll I have ever had.
