This is a fantastic sounding pickup, I am so happy I went for this one.

When clean there is a great bite and still maintains twang in the sound. However, the twang has a lot more beef to it than other teles I have tried with a single coil classic twangy sound.
Chords sound great, they really ring out clearly and aren't muddy or characterless at all (like some humbuckers I have used). When doing clean lead work with it in clean I am also very impressed with the sound as it is a very dynamic pickup.

When I played it through my overdrive pedal I heard what this pickup is capable of. The dynamic range really expands and the sound ranges from really crunchy distortion to a powerful lead sound with lots of bite. Great for riffing and soloing, and great for a lot of different styles. I have read a lot that this is a hard rock pickup, and while it does hard rock exceptionally well, I can also get lighter, bluesier overdriven tones for my softer playing.

I honestly feel that I could not have picked a better pickup. It just sounds incredible. Highly recommend!

This pickup I bought specifically for a Telecaster guitar I was building a short while ago.

I wanted a really good rock tone rather than a traditional telecaster sound so I bought this and two other pickups from Thomann a Pro track and a Fast track for the middle and neck (the guitar was custom).

The three together give you wonderful tones that are like humbuckers (because they are) but the three work really well for anything from blues through to instrumental rock.

Do not expect this pickup to offer much by way of clarity because that is not what this pickup is for really.

I like the fact that this is switchable between single and humbucker if you need it as that increases flexibility in use.

No cons on this pickup... its made well and sounds really great.
