Good sounding

Even if this pickup was made for Yngwie Malmsteen, it?s not an high output full out metal pickup. It?s is a more vintage style kind of pickup, with good sound. Bought it to get an more versitale guitar and it did it?s job well.

The Yngwie pick-up!

This is the best sounding pick-up I have ever tried. In my opinion it's also the best choice if you're looking for the 80's Yngwie Malmsteen tone.

Keep in mind though that it's not a standard pick-up cover, this one i much "taller" than most other brands. So if you want to replace the cover you need to order a specific DiMarzio cover.

Very good replacement for stock Ibanez single coils

I used this to replace single coil S1 pickup in my daughter';s Ibanez RG1570 guitar. She claims sound is much better now.
I also replaced V7/V8 humbuckers with Dimarzio PAF joe and Mo Joe pickups to improve the sound.

Micro particulier

Depuis quelques temps je cherchais des micros pour ma hamer chaparal de 1986. Ils commençaient à perdre leur dynamique. Après plusieurs achats de micros Dimarzio, j'ai enfin trouvé le bon modèle, celui là. Il a la particularité d'avoir un fil de masse. Le son est très proche des micros fender pour st. Son très propre et très équilibré, mais avec un rendement un peu inférieurs à ses frères plus agressifs. Bref c'est bien ce modèle qui équipait ma gratte au départ. Enfin pour les profannes, il s'agit d'un double bobinage format simple bobinage, et non pas un simple bobinage.
