Solid cable
Reviewing previous instance of same exact cable that was in use. Bought again, will buy again.
The cable is not the best in terms of build quality, but it's definitely good enough. Inside you have two strands of tension protecting woven fiber, two plastic shielded copper wires for pins 2 and 3. The copper wiring on pin 1 doesn't have sleeve protection, and after almost exactly 18 months of weekly use, the strain on the mic cord right next to the mic's XLR connector had completely torn itself under bending.
But, the Neutrik connectors are rock solid and easy to work with: Twist the end cap, cut 5 cm from root of the mic's connector, desolder the cable from connector, and cut open the cable sleeve from broken section. Then check that the damage is contained within the cut part and cut more if necessary, peel wires as needed, and resolder wire to connector. Good as new.
