Bonmusica Violin Shoulder Rest 4/4

I'm about 188 cm tall and have a large frame so I purchased the Bonmusica shoulder rest with high expectations due to its customization options and unique "hook" design. However, even after spending hours experimenting with it, I have been unable to find a comfortable fit for myself.

No matter how I adjust it, I find myself needing to use both my shoulder and neck to compensate for the rest's design, leading to significant discomfort. Interestingly, I have never encountered this issue with more basic shoulder rests.

Additionally, there appears to be a design flaw. You can't fully utilize the screws' adjusting potential due to design limitations. The shoulder area screw can't be shortened much before the shoulder rest itself becomes an obstruction, and shortening the chest area screw becomes problematic as it starts poking into the chest.

In summary, while I had high hopes for the Bonmusica shoulder rest, it has proven to be quite uncomfortable.
