Excellent microphone for recording Cello

For some time I was looking for a microphone that captures the details and depth of cello sound. I tried a few omnidirectional and also another Audio- Technica cardioid (with USB). During the recordings, the sound result was ok but it never sounded close to reality and I could never reach that level.

I tried the AT2035 after a recommendation from another cellist. The setup took a bit of time as my computer processor was a bit older than the recommended one. However, it was very easy as there were plenty of walkthrough videos to guide the process step by step.
I installed the Ableton Live 10 Lite software which is included and I set it up according to the instructions. Again, the videos and guidelines for the setup are excellent.

I was absolutely amazed by the quality of the recordings. It is incredibly close to reality, much more than I thought it would be. There are many possibilities to edit the sound afterward but the quality of the original recording is already so good.
My warmest thanks go to Thomann for a great service as they helped me to select and keep the best microphone for my needs.

Olen tähän erittäin tyytyväinen. Tyylikäs. Laadukas. Sopivan hintainen. Pidän erityisesti tämän lämpimästä saundista laulun kanssa. Myös laulu+akustinen kitara tulee talteen mukavasti.

A great condenser microphone for the price

The AT2035 is a great condenser microphone, especially at a discounted price. The sound quality is stellar, and especially well-suited for vocals. The build quality is excellent, and the microphone feels super sturdy. I would suggest getting a pop filter for it though, as with any microphone really. I can't stress enough how good of a microphone the AT2035 truly is.

Best mic out there for this price

This thing is perfect for streaming and talking. I love it. The sound quality is GREAT, my keyboard clakking doesn't hear when I speak and it's just... awesome. Highly recommend it.

Tosi hyvä ensimmäiseksi kondensaattorimikrofoni

En ole mikään ammattilainen, joka tätä mikrofonia on käyttänyt, mutta se on tehnyt enemmän kuin tarpeeksi.

Mikrofonin ääni on tosi hyvä. Olen käyttänyt omissa musiikkiprojekteissa tätä mikkiä, ja on tehnyt työnsä. Mikrofoni on myös mainio kavereiden kanssa puhumiseen esimerkiksi discordissa tai videopeleissä.
